His dialogue is so deceptively simple yet incredibly complex it’s frustrating how artfully done it is

He carried the behind the scenes and interviews, not only because of his outstanding eloquence, but also because he understands the movie and Wes. Thanks to his inputs, I’ve been able to comprehend the film much better!

I enjoyed the film. Has me still thinking about it, which I can’t say about most films I’ve seen recently. Wes’s films(if you like his style which you already know if you do or don’t) are always a treat. If you’ve never seen one of his movies I’m not sure this is the best introduction as it felt very much like a reflection on his body of work.

That bit in the movie when he appears from the left of the frame and asks "Am I not in this?" just cracked me up so hard! 🤣🤣🤣

Asteroid City is so complex because of the two stories written over one another. The play Asteroid City and the writing and the performing of the play. Both are two different stories and to get it you have to watch it twice to follow each one through.

It is not as if a Wes Anderson film requires promotion. However, Bryan Cranston should get a bonus for the charismatic way in which he sells it.

I saw it today. Despite my best efforts, most of it blew past me. In a couple weeks, I'll watch it again. But only one more try. Honestly, the whole film seemed to be missing the reel that would tie it all together.

Watched it yesterday (and went to the props exhibition afterwards) and immediately thought, I n ed to see it again to fully understand it and see more of the set details

This movie is about life, death and discovery, but its also about the creative process and how actors deal with internalizing their roles. Remember, both the play Asteroid City AND the black and white parts are fiction written for a television broadcast hosted by Bryan Cranston.

As someone who loves Wes Anderson movies I was pretty disappointed. At the same time I feel like it’s weirdly what the film wanted me to feel.

I am a fan of Wes Anderson but I barely made it through Asteroid City. I came close to shutting it off.

Wes Anderson's movies need to be seen at least three times. This movie is a perfect example of that. It changes your perspective each time.

I watched it again the other day a couple of weeks after the first viewing and picked up more and enjoyed it a lot more and looking forward to buying it on Blu Ray when it gets released here in Australia
