Bryan gave us a mini master class on acting between hot wings. Legendary.

Sir Michael Caine said the same thing. “When you fight the tears, the audience will cry for you.”

Just his full, rich, clear speaking voice is enchanting and powerful

A corollary idea to this I was taught is that the harder a scene is for the character, the easier it is for the actor. It’s amazing watching actors stay fully committed in a scene where it would be easy to laugh or cry along with the audience.

I very rarely say this, but when I hear this man speak, it drives home how intelligent he clearly is.

He should write a book on acting. That was an amazing point he gave.

What he's saying about crying is so real. I get emotional on scenes where characters try to resist the urge to cry to look strong

It’s true, it’s always saddest and most heart wrenching when someone is trying their hardest not to cry.

my high school director said “acting is resisting what the audience is supposed to feel.” and that’s true and it slays

Bryan Cranston has a single, short scene in Babylon 5 where his character doesn't cry. It's one of the most heartbreaking moments in the whole show.

This man is not an actor, he's an artist.

If Hal Wilkerson made you laugh and Walter White made you root for him, that's a sign of a prolific actor.

I could listen to him for hours talking about the technicalities of acting

Bryan Cranston is a legend. Honestly, one of the best actors of all time.

here's how you can tell he is a true master of his craft and worth respecting - when asked about his quote, he doesn't jump straight into explaining why the quote is true. He starts by giving an example of a scenario in which the quote doesn't apply. THEN he goes onto explain what he meant. He realizes that all rules have exceptions and he's humble and considerate enough to explain that to us before going on to elaborate on his quote. Mad respect

It’s insane how few writers and directors seem to understand this these days.

Mans brighter than my future, holy crap. He really studies acting and characters so much, it's uplifting to see someone so smart in the business
