The council of nicea wasn’t a council about the trinity. But the heresy of another man who said that Jesus was God’s first created being. And when Jesus showed up he didn’t have a human soul.
The council was done because the Roman emperor told all of the bishops to go here and debate over it peacefully because there was fighting over it, that based on traditions over 318 bishops/priests showed up, and over 302 of them had wounds. And the Emperor himself wasn’t part of it he just called them.

Crazy how he says “how can you justify it if it’s 3 centuries later” meanwhile the only word he trusts about our Lord Jesus comes from 8 centuries later….

The council of Nicea, was hold to deny the heresy of a priest from Alexandria (Egypt) who was teaching his followers that Jesus was the first creation of the Father, and then by Jesus, the Father created all things.

The Trinity was the official position of the church and the fact that 1 priest thought differently and they made a council to oficialize that as a heresy, just confirms that the Trinity existed in the mind of all priest and bishops present in that council and long before that.

The Council of Nicaea was to argue against the Arian theological view. The Scriptures already identified the oneness of the Father with Christ. Most specifically, the Arianistic view that Christ was "created". Rather than having always been an existing part of the Triune Being of God.

The Council was put together to argue, debunk, and disprove the Arian Theology of Christ being "Created". So this Moslem is already absolutely incorrect with history itself, not even the theological aspect of the Council.

The Council of Nicaea did not "establish", but confirmed the Trinity and used the resources prior to it to confirm the truth of it.

No the council of nicea was to debate whether the son was god himself

You guys know where santa claus come from actually? From saint Nicholas he was actually in the council of nicea argued that he was divine since he died for our sins only god could forgive them but it was the son who did even though god had abandoned him therefore the doctrine of the soul of christ being truly man and truly god

Because only man can hold sins

And only god can forgive them

Reconciliation of man and god

Jesus truly is the mediator of man and god because he is both

Also on the topic saint Nicholas and jesus marry christmas to you all! 🎄🌟✝️

I hope you guys spend time with your family

This is so common. People blindly follow the advice of a deceiver instead of doing their due diligent research so they think they know what they're talking about but end up pridefully making a fool of themselves... If they get caught. To be humiliated with the truth while receiving it in a charitable and humble manner is such a merciful deed. I hope they take it humbly and spark a desire for truth instead of feeling resentment.

The term trinity was used far before the council of nicea. Tertullian in particular was the first to use the term in the second century so sometime in the 100s AD. But even before him we see in church writings that take The Father, Son, and Holy spirit all as God

And also st Polycarp, St Irenaus of Lyons, St Ignatius of Antioch all confirmed the Triune Godhead and where disciples of the Holy Apostles plus the Didache the earliest Christian text before the epistles and gospels wrote about being Baptized by 3 full submersions in the Name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit

And the Quran was written 623 years AFTER the Bible was written.

Quoting the Bible to prove the Bible. Using the word in the definition to define the word being defined.

John 17:3 “This is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ who you have sent”- quote from Jesus

1 Timothy 2:5

“There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ”

1 Corinthians 8:6 “to us there is one God, The Father, and one Lord, Jesus Christ”

I can go on

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ”

“I am ascending to my father and to your father, to my God and to your God”

The best way to refute the trinity is with the Bible, the words of the Son of God himself and his disciples’ testimony have the most value.

The authors, well transcribers of the new testament wrote it well after the apostles. Most of those books are named because that's where traditionally the story came from. You can't exactly trust the exact wording of any book in the Bible. You can only trust the general theme.

Also in genesis it refers to God as plural and not singular.

It’s taught in the Old Testament too. To put it simply it doesn’t matter when Church doctrine was codified, it matters that’s it’s correct. Many things went unaddressed by the Church for many centuries before finally being talked about only because the question hadn’t arose until then. There’s nothing extraordinary about doctrine being codified long after the original text was written, it’s a regular and necessary practice for the institution Jesus Christ created to clarify the meaning of the scripture and which the Holy Spirit inspired as new objects and misunderstandings arise with the passage of time. This is why a living and definitive magisterium is necessary for Christianity to exist over the thousands of years.

What gets missed in the trinity discussion is when the apostles carried out the baptism mandate of Matt 28 is that they use one name for the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit...the name is Jesus Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-16, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 19:3-5, Acts 22:16. The Council of Nicea absolutely invented the trinity. There was no conversation of about 1 God, 3 persons in the first century. These were Jews that believed in a God who was numerically 1, not 3 distinct persons.
