The trinity is like an egg. You have the shell, the yolk and the egg white. All plays distinct roles on its own yet they can come together as one. The shell protects the yolk and the white. The yolk can turn into a chick and the white provides nutrients for the growing chick. In cooking, the egg yolk and white can go together or separately. The shell don't go into the good but not less important bcos it's role is to protect the yolk and white from spoiling. So you have 3 distinct character of an egg yet they must be together as 1 within itself. Hope this explains😊

Because Lord Jesus also wanted to show us that we humans must pray to God like He did

Yes He is God but He is.also our example on how we should walk and live

A priest explained this to me very simply. I asked a similar question about the Trinity. He grabbed a lighter...lit it .. and said what colors do you see? I said Yellow, blue, and white. He said there's 3 parts to the flame yet it's still one flame. I said yes. He said in the same way God can be 3 distinct persons but one God. I said...I get it.

Basically Jesus acted for us to learn from him. As he came in real for only awhile, he showed to people how we should interact with God. Amen!

That question is a classic and very valid. It’s very hard to explain in a way that the human logic can be able to assimilate it. It's hard, the truth is that it's hard to explain.

“The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear O Israel, The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Mark 12:29)
“But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32)

Yes, and during creation God said, "let us make man in our own image". All three were there.

The trinity is a difficult concept to understand and explain. While most people have tried to give analogies, the concept itself is rooted in divinity that it’s very difficult for us as mortals to understand. But it’s because of this complexity that I believe in it.

He doesn't want to answer the question why is he praying to himself😅😅😅

I don't understand the question of, why Jesus prayed to God if He is God. You are taking this to a flesh point of view, heaven doesn't operate as the earth does, be born again and let the Holy Spirit guide you, it's only then you'll stop asking questions that means nothing.

Jesus prayed to the Father. For "the Father is Greater than I".

Water has three forms: liquid, solid, and gaseous. All three have different characteristics, but are still water. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit have different characteristics but are still God.

Not a good enough explanation. I’m with the student on this. Why pray to yourself if you’re God, regardless of “limiting yourself.” How can God have limits? Even in a human form? He’s still God. It doesn’t connect the dots w me

Al-Ikhlas (The Sincerity) 112:1 - 4

(1) Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,
(2) Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
(3) He neither begets nor is born,
(4) Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
