What is PET/CT and how does it work?

Physicians use positron emission tomography–computed tomography (PET/CT) to see what’s wrong and to develop a patient treatment strategy and monitor the response. The combination of PET and CT gives a more accurate picture than the two performed separately.

Es muchisima mas exposicion a radiacion que un ct normal si no es grave no se hagan un escaneo con tomografo
