Ingredients for Hand Made Spinach Borek
For the dough
500 g flour
325g of water
1 teaspoon salt
For filling :
You can use any filling material you want. I made it with spinach.
1 onion
Half kg of spinach
chili pepper
Black pepper
Salt
2-3 tablespoons of oil
You can also add desired spices.
Butter and oil mixture (to roll out the dough)
For the stuffing, chop the onion into small pieces.
Add oil to a suitable pan and lightly fry the onions.
Then chopped spinach is roasted by adding spices.
Remove from the stove and let it cool.
For the dough, add flour and salt to the kneading bowl.
Slowly add water and knead the dough. The amount of flour can be half a glass less or half a glass more. You can add flour or water depending on the consistency of the dough.
After the dough is kneaded, divide into 5 equal pieces.
With the help of flour, rolled out to the size of a serving plate, greased with plenty of oil and placed on top of each other on a tray.
Let our dough rest like this for at least 30 minutes.
Take One of the rested dough roll out on a large table by carefully pulling the edges. The dough will roll out quite easily. If you hold the dough carefully without tearing it, you will see that it is very easy.
Bake in the oven at 180C for 40-50 minutes until golden brown.
You can serve it by slicing it after the first heat comes out.
