Nikon shooter. But EOS R best Z6 in auto-focus, but did you update the firmware to 3.0 ??

Nikon Z6 shooter and my files look extremely better than what you're showing. Not a good comparison since the R is using a native RF lens. Try it again with the 85mm S on the Z6. Make sure you have the latest Z firmware update. Sheesh... will this ever end

I would love to see this same comparison with both cameras shooting with their native lenses. Say for instance 85 EOS R 1.2 on the canon vs the 85 1.8 S lens on the Nikon.

Thanks, but you should have used the native lenses.it basically invalidates the tests.if you add the old firmware is pretty bad. Still, as I say thanks for taking the time.

Nice job, this video was well done! Please test the 85 1.8 S instead next. Most people can’t afford and aren’t pressed about 1.2 but would still like to see how the cheaper lens performs in comparison. Also Lightroom has some issues with Z6/Z7 white balance and adds a magenta tone. Capture One handles the files much better. You may be able to try the “Natural Light Auto” or “Auto Keep White” in camera white balance settings for better results.

Dope video! I own a Z and I’m also frustrated about the lens road map. I noticed the accuracy issue you was having with the z. I wonder will the 85 1.8S be more accurate. Also I get better accuracy with single point wide open with the ftz

That 3.0 update was clutch. And Im onto CF express now. My job uses Nikon and that's what I learned on. I like how Nikons show color. With that said, it was shaky having to adapt all those Lenses on the Z6 the past year but with the 85s and 35s in the bag I'm good to go. Jealous Canon has 1.2s but I gotta be patient and the 1.2 prices are insane anyway. Not to mention these arent your old 1.8 lenses. So Im not in a Hurry.

A native 135 for the Z would be nice.

Nice video bro 👍 Really a shame that you didn‘t have native glass for the Z6. But the 105 still did an amazing job (I love that lens and hope that Nikon will make a successor for it on the Z mount). But so did the Canon. Really hard to pick a camera these days
