You can turn right on red in the USA because there are no people walking :)

"Turning right on red" actually increases the amount of pedestrian fatalities by 70%. That's why it's generally not a thing in Europe, except for systems with an extra set of traffic lights, stopping people from crossing the street before turning on a green arrow for the cars.

That exaggerated German accent is SO great! 🤣 German guy loves it!
And the way the guy wonders how he's being overtaken on the right .. I LOVE IT!
There are traffic lights with a sign of a green arrow to the right where you are allowed to turn right even when the light is red.
Love the "words of wisdom"!!

in Germany you will find some "turn right green arrow signs to pass red lights" and there are mounted on trafficlights

When we did a road trip from coast to coast on holiday in the US and drove 8, 000 miles, the one thing a noticed about americans driving above anything else is: In Germany, when you are driving, you are driving, in the US, when you are driving, you might be having lunch or text your friends or apply makeup or have a sing along with the radio or paint your toe nails (yes, I have seen that).

Here in Europe you cant turn right on red because there are pedestrians and cyclist 😂And Audi S8 is like a Mercedes S class an have a lot of horsepower 😂

Turning right on red is actually a pretty horrible idea if you consider anyone else outside on the street who isn't surrounded by 4 tons of steel as a human being, the amount of pedestrian fatalities in places with turn right on red vs those without are scary, though to be fair, we do have some traffic lights here in Germany where you can also turn right on red, but those are the exception and are specifically marked.
Same goes for the position of the traffic lights, the European way is much safer since it forces people to stop earlier and a bit further back (again better for pedestrians) and also avoids the tunnel vision some drivers seem to get when the lights are further away.

Driving on US freeways was like a free for all. The only scarier place I've driven was Istanbul.

He really tries to speak the most German English ever spoken. Even my grandma could make it sound more English.

In Germany there is car parking, in America there is panzer parking.

In the UK (and I do not doubt also everywhere in Europe), at large junctions, there may well be a seperate signal to turn. It activates when it's not the pedestrian phase of the lights. It's 100% safe.

In Portugal, in some interchanges, we do have the possibility of turning right...but the colour of the sign for turning right is yellow, because you can do it with caution

In Germany, or at least my region, there was common saying that goes _"Mercedes hat eingebaute Vorfahrt", _ which translates to _"Mercedes has a built-in right of way", _ due to the perception of Merc drivers cutting you off more so than others.

Driving in the US is insane! Never seen so much risky, crazy driving in such a short time. Witnessed a wheel flying off a truck and two cars skidding off the road in the rain due to badly maintained vehicles and even worse driving all in one day. Spotted a dude at traffic lights having a shave in the rear view mirror and a woman falling asleep at the wheel and driving in zig zag lines on an interstate. Driving is something a lot of americans do NOT take seriously. I like visiting, but I don't like driving there!!

Turning right on red is deadly for pedestrians and cyclists. The US loses again.
