Volvo V60 estate review - CarBuyer

The S60 saloon is Volvo's best attempt yet to challenge the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes C-Class in the small executive class, and the V60 is the stylish estate version. The model line-up is the same as the saloon's, and flagship versions come with four-wheel drive, while the low-emissions DRIVe version has low running costs and cheap road tax. While older Volvo estates offer loads of space, the V60 is smaller inside than similarly sized rivals. But the company's reputation for comfortable cabins and first-class safety equipment remains intact, with both the main car and the Plug-In Hybrid model securing top marks in the Euro NCAP safety test.

I used to drive a Volvo 850 estate. Although the car was reliable, it was not very enjoyable to drive. I adore Rebecca's crystal clear British accent which is easily understandable for foreigner like me. From Japan

I own a Volvo vV60 for a year now and it's a fantastic car. The boot is not so big but has a very useful layout, the rear seats fall flat with nicely if you need more space. The new Sensus System is a little bit old school but dead easy to use. Only a few downsides: Storage space in the cabin is not as good as you may think after watching the video and leather quality is not quite premium. The D3 is a fantastic 5 cylinder mid-range engine by the way, I love it!

I have owned two 3 series and yes they are great on smooth hwys but my back said no more bmws. No better experience than driving a BMW on a windy well paved strech of road. But when it gets bumby a BMW 3 series becomes a bit of a burden on the back.

I know this is an old video but I like the front end on this year better than the newer ones. Problem is I can't seem to find this years model for sale at all. I live in the States, is it only available in Europe?

i guess its perfect for people like me. The only reason I look at this is because I like the station wagon style, don't really about the boot space :D my Fiesta was always sufficient.
