Just bought a brand new 2023 GT. Dealership had discounted it to 35k and gave me 72 months at 0%.

Mach e is an amazing vehicle. Reliable, well built, cheap to operate and is a pure joy to drive

With the new prices and lease incentives is it worth it?

The Mach e is a nice car, but it's priced higher than it's competition. Add in the lack of a heat pump and slower than average charging speeds and unless Ford announces a major price cut, those models will rot on lots. With every new EV being released, the value proposition for the Mach e drops even further.

I bought a 2023 Mach-E Select. Love this car. Hate the charging infrastructure when I leave my hometown. Also hate that 12 months later, it's worth half of what I paid for it.

I saw a Mustang Mach-e while buying my wife a Bronco. Loved the look so I ordered on a month later. Watched several Sandy Monroe videos and afterwards decided to take a Tesla Model Y for a test drive. Immediately ordered a Tesla Y Performance. 3 weeks later the Tesla arrived. It took Ford 4 months which wasn't a big deal but they never contacted me to give me any idea on delivery date. Couldn't be happier with my Tesla.

I was casually looking at a new one, I sold my car to carvana and noticed they have TONS for sale with very low mileage which is super concerning to me. They're not selling new ones, and people aren't keeping theirs. Why?

Leasing is a terrible investment!!! There are tons of videos about that. Secondly all cars lose a ton of value. Why is this even a topic? Find a car you want to drive the wheels off of, pay cash or large down an finance, pay off, drive for 5-10 yrs until its cooked. Or finance a used one, with a credit union loan, you can find mach e gt's for 34k all day long. Lower trim for 24k.

Hi Ari, most of the dealerships in NYC area raised the prices to 58k. On GTs. It's tough to make them go down to below 50k.

If you really can’t figure out why people aren’t buying Mach-E, it a simple answer….Model Y…that’s it.

Just got a Blazer AWD RS for $45.5 K twice as big inside as a Mach-e and 315-320 miles of range as tested ! I love this car and my brother in law who just bought a Tesla-Y is looking at trading it on a Lyric EV as the Tesla is just cheap junk! My wife wouldn’t let me buy the Cadillac as our friends are not doing well in this economy, so we don’t want to look rich! They think a Blazer is just a car!

EVs are designed for homeowners. Less and less young people can afford a home and few landlords are going to invest the money to install the 240 volt supply. IMO getting rid of ICE will cost America well over 2 trillion (2000 billion) dollars when you factor in power plant construction, distribution upgrades and the infrastructure that goes along with that. If that power plant construction is fossil based why did we swap to EV? So solar, nuclear or wind. All but nuclear is contingent on storage breakthroughs that don't seem feasible within 25 years. Swapping ICE for EV is a pipe dream that was never achievable.
Cut transportation fossil by maybe 20% might be doable but replacement is ludacris.
