quest 2 won't connect to pc - dev mode bug - solved

this was caused by a problem with dev mode that has since been patched

This was fixed in the last firmware update but it still makes the noise

To those who may not know, the recent update turned off all Data links etc in your settings
If you are having issues when it was working fine before doubke check those settings

The cable that comes with it isnt for datalink. You gotta spend $80 for the link cable. Even then you’ll be spending hours trying to get that to work properly. And if you get it to work you’ll have to rinse and repeat that process every time you restart it. Then in the end you’ll realize your $80 link cable doesnt charge it fast enough. What a pos this thing is.

It’s because you need to go in settings and then type in Airlink and then turn that on

I tried with my oculus off and oculus on your oculus is supposed to be on when you do it and it worked with the charger oculus provided with the headset
