The biggest missed opportunity is not having Shin picked up the bugs and eat them with Kibito when they return to earth, thinking they eat the recovery bug but turned out it was the fusion bug, then they fuse into Kibitoshin once again

The only thing I didn't like was Vegeta getting sidelined and not going ssj 4 (and them not fusing). The ending itself was funny and silly, just like how the og dragon ball was. I think people forget that dragon ball was never a serious anime.

People are mad at nothing, fusion is over done, dragon fist would be cool but the Kamehameha was dope enough and the final flash. The eye thing was hilarious and very much dragon ball humor.

Actually…contrary to your statement. Most fans of Toriyama sensei and the OG Dragon Ball absolutely LOVED the ending. It’s just SUPER fans that are upset because DAIMA had more Toriyama substance and less fan service fluff in it

It was a cool ending, nothing to be upset about, although with the boatload of contradictions and dangling plot threads, I think it might be part of a separate "Toriyama timeline". It also probably sets a precedent for GT to be canon in some form of alternate timeline.
