2:01 i just realized that this part shows exactly how what Lady Crane said about Colin not seeing Penelope differently than he sees Eloise is so wrong. a real sister reacts annoyed just like Eloise does, but he doesn't see Penelope as his sister, and he appreciates the fact that she actually pays attention to him. he even points out the fact that they are different. it is so clear that they don't have a brother/sister like relationship and he’s actually aware of it. conclusion: he just needs a little bit more time to realize polin is real

I really would like these two together, she supports all he does and wants to help him with that, also she tries to protect him from getting hurt. He will hate the day she turns away from him, knowing there isn't many people like her in the world. Yes, she wrote hurtful things but the world really hasn't been fair to her, a wall flower that no one likes but one friend. I hope in season 3 there is more chemistry between these two.

Colin's oblivion to his sweetheart makes me want to punch him in the face. His mouth says something and his eyes tell a different story. I go with the eyes because they are the mirrors of the soul. Penelope is Colin's soulmate and they complement each other so well, I couldn't wait ..I read their book 😩 I love how they teamed up to bring life to Colin's writings (apologies if this is a spoiler but remember Shonda doesn't follow the books to the tee)
