If you don't know how to change gears, I don't think a dura-ace di2 is a good example to use for a beginner...

In the days as kids in the 70's we learned to shift using friction shifting with shifters on the tube. You felt the forces and new you need to pedal and unload pressure during the shift. The rookies need a youtube channel and still manage to break their 1500$ alledgedly dummy safe electronic shifting systems. Absolutely hillarious 😂

My bikes the exact opposite. The shifter furthest away is and upshift and closest a down.

I get needing this info, but what would be more helpful is when to what gears when. The more recent videos just come down to "it depends" which is highly unhelpful. Maybe a full video of a run that has different types of sections and the rider calls out how they're shifting????

A bike with Dura Ace groupset and a handlebar bag is just difficult to watch.

Ok so that was unexpected...

A real advice would be to time it right at the least effort point (when pedals are close to vertical generally) as keeping tension throught the shift damages the transmission and slows the shifting process. Generaly you will find yourself shifting always at the same point by reflex, geberaly always with the same feet at the upper apex.
