I am keeping an eye on the storm and can’t wait for hurricane season to end in early December. Florida has had it’s share of hurricanes this year and very strong due to climate change. We had Wilma just before Halloween and now it would be worse with rapid intensification. 🌀🎃

Dani we're never affected further North because of the shear that rears its head later in the season thus these ITCZ storms rarely get to us after the first. its the ones in the Gulf and Caribbean that wind up getting to us. yeah like Milton and many others in the past well AFTER 10.1. Even so Milton shear gave Milton a HUGE hit once it gained latitude. Nope doesn't matter what the temp is when it comes to shear as shear will win that battle every time because it chokes off breathing. Yeah it knocked it down from 165 to 120 in about 24 hours only shear can do that (and even more if the shear is REALLY nasty or the storm slows down). Fortunately this guy sped UP which in turn kept the spin up as well. We got another few weeks for all of us though, don't we? Be safe, Dani you do a great job through the season unlike some of these people that hype everything here to the absolute hilt. I watch you because you don't do that.
