I'm glad Meta decided to take thier time on this, god knows the quest OS needs a massive overhaul and the last thing it needed before that happened is an undercooked new major feature.

Many people do not know that they can rotate the hard parts of the stock strap, so the headset sits on your cheeks, making huge difference, both in comfort and clarity. The parts that connect to the headset

A comfortable strap have those characteristics: the weight is sustained for the most part by the forehead (elite strap cannot do it), and have not anything that cross above the head touching hairs (it could cause hair loss maybe and is not a good solution if so). I didn't tested the Quest Pro strap but it seems like it has been built to sustain the weight on the forehead if I well remember.

He's such a liar. No one prefers the stock strap with ANYTHING! The stock strap is a good (low cost) solution for everyone. There's zero argument that the elite isn't superior in almost every respect. The cost is the issue. No one prefers the cost strap but it's cheap so whatever.

Meta is a failing company. Scrapping Augments is the most obvious indicator of a company that has no clue what it is doing.
