The Ending Credits sequence is honest to god one of the best I’ve ever seen for anime.

Most anime EDs have some happy beats, chill nonsense or some awesome cool spectacle happening with some nice animation, and good beats you wanna vibe with, that I honestly tend to usually just skip over altogether.

THIS ED however. It told a story. A character’s emotions, neon settings depicting the mood and atmosphere of the moment, the haunting sounds of the music that also reflect very well to the characters and events, and how it hints and eventually adds up to something.

And adding how finishing the show re-contextualized that whole ending sequence, makes that ED sequence absolutely crushing.


Mai Yoneyama’s direction here was absolutely stellar, and Dawid’s performance throughout the whole track was breathtaking in really settling you on what kind of emotions it wants you to have on the story.

Truly, nothing short of iconic.
