It caught my attention to talk about the difference between artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial general intelligence, as in the world of contemporary technology, the two types have witnessed widespread controversy about the differences between them. Artificial intelligence is considered a branch of artificial general intelligence, and some say that AGI is a completely different field.

Is Gartner tracking emerging trends in non-generative AI as closely as generative AI? I've developed some non-generative AI that enhances blockchain with a goal to develop an autonomous commerce model, where AI avatars negotiate autonomously to exchange goods and services, including bartering. This commerce framework creates opportunities for entities (people, places, things) to monetize a variety of behaviors that could drive global GDP growth significantly. For instance, imagine a blockchain that empowers IoT devices, including smartphones, to passively/autonomously generate revenue by mining blocks. Instead of thousands of elite mining rigs underpinning blockchain technologies, billions of IoT devices could transform this sector, along with many smartphone owners in emerging markets. New economic models will emerge quickly as these users become more comfortable with AI and other advanced technologies, including DeFi, through first-hand experience that pays them.
