I do not think most people realize that this man is a living legend in the world of processor design. When Intel used to make great CPUs, this is the man that designed them. AMD is the success that is it today because of him.

Jim looks exhausted. Probably burning the midnight oil on his projects.

Love seeing AI innovation making waves! Smaller players getting access to affordable AI solutions is a game-changer. Can't wait to see what's next for your company!

This is how the developer looks like when he's doing 1000% of the work. This man is cooking.

What a strange choice of title, he does say we're in a hype cycle, he also says it doesn't matter.

Over optimization too early is a huge risk. AI isn’t done evolving yet.

Just like C became C was because it had a playground Linux

I guess bringing more Open Source would fire up the platform and test limits

Why was Ljubisa pushed from Tenstorrent as CEO to just replicate the similar work in his own Taalas startup?

Not likely, mainly due to NVIDIA CUDA framework in c++ that makes the GPU hardware easily accessible. I’m not saying I’m not for cheaper better GPUs or ability to train models. However, given the CUDA ecosystem that supports all the deep learning frameworks, it makes it difficult to beat. In order to even have a chance they need to have full (100%) interop with PyTorch/Torch deep learning framework.

the 4:45 part is fun. stop talking about BS and make the best thing. suddenly you don't need so much "business culture" and gain more business...

i just learn the hard way, why open sourcing AI is on the run today's... it is not they really care about us it is about distributing cost, and funding human talent... i was thought they are really care.
i had learnt this AI thing is complicated enough that programming skills alone won't do the job done it needs several more skill than that, it does rare to find talent in this kind of new AI era.

These guys will never beat Nvidia. They need a CEO like Jensen Huang that constantly pumps his company by claiming his processors will greatly improve the world if you buy enough of them. Huang is running one of the best con jobs ever and wealthy tech companies are falling for it. Nvidia can charge as much as they want for their processors and the hungry tech companies will happily pay for A.I. dominance.
Keller needs to make much bigger claims than Huang to sell his boring product. Investors need to be pumped up with all sorts of crazy claims about what A.I. can do for the world. Let's replace all human workers with a few A.I. chips. That's such a wonderful goal to excite investors.
