In this video I show this DIY Arduino UNO shield that has a light-dependent resistor on it to measure the brightness of different resistor-LED combinations. I also cover the background of selecting an appropriate size resistor. Ultimately, I want to use the shield to help determine what resistor will give 20 mA for 5V or 3.3V, or if it is more efficient with a lower current. I will show my results and conclusions my experiments in part 2.
