#JEFhangout: »How does and should Europe face the terrorist threat?«

The Young European Federalists Germany invite you to join our debate on terrorism threatening Europe and its citizens!

On Thursday, 3 December 2015 at 8pm (CET), JEFers from 7 countries will discuss the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris. Not only did Paris get hurt, but the whole of Europe felt the pain. This was an attack on universal human values, on the very foundations of the free, open and democratic societies we strive to be. Our answer can only be to be ever more united in defending our European core values of freedom, democracy and peace.

Do we believe that the answer to hatred and terror can only be unity, solidarity and fraternity? How do we fight together for what we believe in? And how are measures in the area of conflict between liberty and security been taken into account when talking about a European secret service, a better protection of the external EU borders, radical societal groups and accepting more refugees?
