Thanks to the support of the Franco-German Youth Office (OFAJ), in May 2018, a group of young people took part in “One Vision” program, which was dedicated for youth from Member States of the Weimar union. Young European Federalists from Poland, France and Germany have been talking about the politics of their countries for four days.
The meeting took place in the capital of France, Paris. During first day, young people from JEF’s discussed domestic policy of their countries. Each participant could learn something new about other countries of the union. Then they met Mr Maillard, director of the Institut Jacques Delors. The meeting took place in Permanent Representation of European Commission in Paris. They had a conversation about work in European Commission and threats to Polish democracy. Next day, representatives of the Member States have done “position papers” about European Democracy, Economy and Social Issues, Foreign Policy and Security, Culture and public sphere, Climate and Energy. They had a chance to work in groups, which resulted in getting to know other participants’ views on different aspects of life.
Organizations counts on further cooperation between our countries for the good functioning of the European Union. Next meeting will probably take place in Berlin next year.
