Natlan Theme - Tribal Tales of the Sun (Fan-Made) | Genshin Impact

Imagine crossing the borders of Natlan and hearing this music. Much in the spirit of Natlan's teaser theme, this is an original piece I created, attempting to capture both African and Brazilian musical influences.

Initially, my goal was to create a purely samba-inspired theme. But as I delved into the origins of samba and the roots of Natlan's teaser theme, I felt compelled to expand the idea and incorporate some of the African vibes. This ended up being a kind of tropical Afro-Brazilian tune, though I'm not sure what exactly to call it. I hope it sounds somewhat authentic. Please enjoy! ^-^

Hey guys! This piece came about as I dove headfirst into Brazilian samba music. Apparenty, the genre has deep roots in african musical traditions, particularly West Africa (what a coincidence!), so I ended up falling down a rabbit hole of Afro-Brazilian music. As I developed the music, it started to sound quite tropical, but I didn't mind considering the time of year haha! (Maybe there'll be a tropical area in Natlan?) Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this, and now I'm taking you along for the ride. Thanks for listening! :)
