The other side of the pool is unworldly, not following any of the physics in our reality, and there are several strange creatures to be discovered...

Good detail with the stubble increasing over time

The Red Pool seems like something that bends reality to the fears we imagine. Like grass as knives, sun that gets hotter and hotter, water that'll suffocate you just for drinking it, trees that want to use you as nutrients, even the wall that feels like it's not protecting you but keeping you trapped. The world shifts due to the minds of those inside, you can walk in a straight line for months and return to your starting position within a few hours.

The scariest part of this log is that the expedition was never said to happen, like no setup from the foundation but just somehow happened. I think that the pool was messing with the facility and trying to get people to cross. It’s really mysterious, go read about the SCP on the wiki, it’s really entertaining.

That’s just really creepy in its own right when paired with the events on the other side.
