EAS Scenario | SCP-354 The Red Pool | Alert Containment Breach

Emergency Alert System (EAS) scenario about SCP-354 The Red Pool or should I say pools. If you see any ponds or basins which appear red, pink, or brown in color, contact your local authorities and notify them of the position. Latitude and longitudinal coordinates are preferred. These contaminated pools are reported as toxic to human life and may harbor disease.

I love how it's just "Red Water" and not "tHe EnEmY" or "SCP-354" as the public still shouldn't know about the SCP foundation, and I absolutely love it.

That's terrifying. It's not just turning people into monsters or causing sickness. It's altering the physical layout of the environment in some way.

Really good, only one error I caught was at 8:08 the text to speech read H2O as H-20 due to a typo in the original script. Aside from that felt really genuine.

You need to make a corrupted EAS scenario, using something with “those aren’t wildlife anymore” when people are running in the woods, oh god that gave me chills hearing that and idk why

The "do not drink non-bottled water" hits harder because water on a lot of indigenous reserves in Canada is reeeeally dirty.
(also, don't know if this was intentional or not, but it's Northwest territories, not Northern.)

I like how it just keeps escalating, from the initial breach to a global disaster. The recommendation "follow light pollution from still-functioning cities or *constellations* in the night sky" really drives home the feeling of society as a whole collapsing because of this one SCP breach. Damn.

I always love seeing how genuinely unsettling/terrifying SCP content can really be. It's fantastically freaky.

While I generally don’t like the ones where the emergency alert immediately reveals the existence of the Foundation because I feel like it’s very unlike the Foundation’s usual style. However, in this one I feel like at the point where the entire planet starts getting infected the Foundation would just ditch secrecy all together and just do as much as they can.

I was really terrified after the announcement of the carpet bombing on Canada during the second alert, but I saw that there was still half of a video left so I got filled with dread knowing there was much more to come...
