My definition of a dress watch;
Two hand, time only.
Precious metal if it fits your budget.
Strap, vice bracelet.
White dial, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.
Indexes vice numerals.
And no, I don't own one.

Another great one mate. Only complaint - Tamnavulin is horrible he he... try Springbank 10 for smoothness, or Lagavulin 16 / Laphroaig 10 for a smoky one

For me my Credor Eichi II is the perfect dress watch. It's not pretty thin(10.3mm), but definitely no problem for any cuff; it has a central second hand, but the sliding motion is a great additional feature.

I bought this popular video watch from NKUWAN , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!

Dress Watch design suggestion: Center seconds hand, with two sub-dials with hands for date and day. Compax two sub-dial layout but the sub-dials have hands for date and day. Reasoning is I like Calatrava styles and I like the look of a sub-dial but not for seconds—I prfer a center sweep hand for the seconds. Having date and day in the sub-dials removes the the date wheel issue.

Sorry I missed it IDGuy but you were spot on with my salmon dials, the left one is a true salmon dial and the right is too pink. Love the watch but not my ideal salmon dial. Be there next time, thanks!

dress watch should be and 30-39mm, thin enough to go through the cuff sleeves, on leather straps color to match the suit or shoes or metal band, simple with 2-3 hands and some complications.

Dress watch in my opinion is between 34-38mm, two hands only, leather strap, white, cream, black or any other color bezel..a 43mmm diver is NOT a dress watch, never!!

This would be my optimal dress watch. A case that’s 36mm to 38mm, thin, black dial with no complications, indexes or numerals with excellent lume so as to be easily read in low light situations on a black NATO or RAF strap. A good example of this would be the Rolex Explorer, Tudor Ranger or, Omega Railmaster.

Oh wait, I just described the versatile field watch. My bad.

Black dial, metall bracelet, at least 100m water resistant, date, magnetic resistant and thin enough to slide under the cuff.
