Oh bonus tip, been playing Venom for 20 hours and hit diamond 1 with him. When you do the cellular corrosion ult combo on a full hp squishy. If you know the enemy has no escape tool and you want to guarantee a kill, you pop your cellular corrosion, go into your ult, and when the circle timer pops up wait until right before it gets halfway and then do the attack at the same time as the corrosion pops and it’ll leave any non-vanguard at a one shot.

(Now here’s to me praying Venom gets a micro-buff that makes cellular corrosion do 85/90 damage instead of 80 so this combo becomes a true one-shot)

This has to be the best Venom video out there. The walkthrough of the maps playing Venom is sick!

Bro, your guides and tips are actually God tier. Giving specific tips that most other guides I've seen don't go in depth on such as the specific, good spots for wall climbing on each map is so nice.

The instant wall tether into slam is such a game changer as well. Not gonna have to give them a 2-3 second warning to spread out once I get that down.

And I definitely wouldn't have found that "secret" part of the practice range on my own lol.

TY for the tips, homie 🙏

I've been maining Venom for a week now and here are my tips to fully utilize his kit.

1. Know your role. You are not a dive assassin!!! You are gonna come across 2 healers most of the time and they are gonna be in the backline most of the time. You want to dive on them all the time. You won't necessarily kill them but you can keep both of them busy healing themselves and each other so the rest of the enemy team doesn't get heals. This means that the rest of your team can focus on killing the others.

2. Train your aim just like you showed in the video. I started off with 25% accuracy on average. I now get an average of 50% and consistently out dps my entire team. Btw Luna snow is the best target to practice on since she can run so fast.

3. Your ult does more damage to full health enemies. It takes away 50% health of the enemy + 40 damage. Also if you're up against a Mantis or Luna Snow, wait until they have used there ults otherwise you throw yours away.

4. Practice your climbing and try to be stealthy. You want to use it so you can engage on their backline and keep your swing for disengaging when you get low health.

5. This is personal preference but i find it better to keep easy swing on on Venom. I 've noticed that on some platforms that your swing will just pull you towards that wall instead of making you swing. Having easy swing on will force you to have the swing animation all the time. Make sure to just use hold to swing. If you need to pull yourself forward to grab a heal just use a short tap to get you there. Also it took me a while to figure this out but you don't move the direction of your swing with WASD. You move it with the camera.

6. Your best combo is Dive bomb -> Cellular Corrosion -> Ultimate and you can do all of that in a second to burst down a lot of enemies. Try to communicate with your team to synchronize ultimates together to one shot the entire enemy team.

7. Melee enemies who are standing next to you instead of primary fire. You'll only hit one or two tentacles if they stand so close to you and you do more damage with your melee attack at that point.

8. Use your body to block people from running. It's funny but you can kinda push heroes around with his body. I've had a few encounters now where i just pushed a healer into a corner and they couldn't move anymore.

9. The best tip i can give is just learn what all the other heroes do and learn to counter. I've found that the best team up for Venom is having a Storm on your team. combining their ults makes quick work of the enemy team and Storm can boost your damage so instead of needing 4 primary attacks to kill a 250 HP hero you''ll just need 3. Also her activated wind mode combined with your Cellular Corrosion can slow the enemies movement by a lot so it makes it easy for the rest of your team to get hits in.( A little tip for playing Storm is just stick to the ground and don't fly. You'll thank me later!)

Being so honest right now, you have helped a lot in my venom gameplay. After viewing your content and how you play I noticed my skills with venom is improving too. Even though I play controller and my aim is not really there unfortunately, you showing me these positions and small combos (that I hope I can pull off) is even much appreciated. And also because of you, you motivate me to continue to practice with venom and getting better with him. please keep it up brother, don’t stop!

My guy, you are a legend. I didn't realize we could bunny hop like spider-man, AND that whole spinning around a pillar mechanic is cool. I've been trying it, and boy, it's tricky on the controller, lol. Those swinging points on maps are also so helpful

Sick combo 1:27. For standard engagements I always take a shot before slamming down. I've watched a few guides and none have mentioned that or the fact that his ultimate does more damage to full health opponents, appreciate the rollouts as well.

I lowkey feel extremely happy to see that a pro venom main has the same tech that I've been doing in most of my games. Thanks for the ones that I did not know like the ult damage 👏🏻

The tech at 1:58 is crazy, you can also do it if you are near a wall, you just climb and run on it and can quickly dive again on the ground. it's a little bit slower but you save the swing cooldown.

Venom is so deceptively hard to play. It's crazy to me when people call him easy.

Thanks a lot for this, you're a life saver. I would've dropped Venom if not for your guides lol.
