Definitely gave me a new perspective of the size of the moon. Thanks for uploading this!
ivanfromearth
only when you zoom in like this you realise how big the moon really is

Another video from NASA said that’s it’s impossible to zoom that much and see what’s on the surface 😅😂😂😂

Was this picture taken by LRO? According to sources the LRO had taken pictures from 65, 50, 25 km in orbit. This doesn't seem like any of the heights, does it? Given the perspective this picture was taken from at least several hundreds or rather more than a thousand km height orbit. If this pic was taken by the LRO why don't they show pictures taken from 65 or 25km in order to be able to zoom in close? I mean earth satellites orbit at 300km height and just like in google maps one is able to zoom in on cars. Image manipulation tech is very advanced nowadays.

and i thought i could see the spot with my telescope

And to think, these two brave men dropped down onto that desolate surface... Buzz is still with us as of March 14, 2021

What are the sources of the images?
LRO, JAXA?

Apparently some people here thought this video was supposed to be "evidence" of something. It isn't. If you want to see the LRO photos taken from lunar orbit of the Apollo landing sites, those have been available online for 10 years. Those are not meant to be "evidence" to convince anyone of anything, either. Personally, I would not spend any money or time attempting to convince the "it's fake" people of anything. It's not worth it. Carry on... 😻

By the end of the 22nd century there's gonna be a museum right next to it

Stare at it while it's zooming in - when it stops your eyes make it look like it's receding.
Stare at it when it's zooming out - when it stops your eyes make it look like it's going in..
Cool optical illusion.

I can see the ants moving around and spark plug and cooldrink can very good

I never knew we sent miniature rockets to the moon
leokimvideo
i found it google maps, but the LM was coverd by a sketch of it's shape, so i could't see it
demirtuzla
Based on this video, when u look at the far distance, the moon is receiving the sunlight from the right, , dats why the dark side is on the left, ,
But when u zoom in to and on the nearer details of the spots, , , the dark shadows are on the right, , meaning the sunlight source is on the left
.
What's happening?

with so much technology, we should have better images than these!

Whatever dude! Your not zooming in on the actual moon, that's an image of the moon your zooming in on. It's freaking obvious as you get closer to the surface. People in the comments are guilible as heck. Sad.
fzidebm
So many dudes in here who thought the moon was 50 feet wide, buncha dummies
AlexandreG
The moon is only as big as your thumb. Great lesson in perspective from Apollo 13 the movie.

is that the best they have moon camaras are very poor but on earth they can show fine images
gertswanepoel
But on the actual video there are no mountains around. Impressive. I want to see the flags were. Convince me.
