I’m 65 and could relate to you on so many things you talked about. Listening to you and watching you hand sew was so relaxing to me I wish your video would have been longer. My mom would put the window fan blowing out so the bedroom windows that were open would bring in the cool air….oh, the memories. Can’t do that these days though. I was taught to hand sew on my quilts instead of using the sewing machine, which is fine if that’s what you prefer, and that includes the quilting part. I was in a quilting store a few years ago talking with one of the ladies who work there and she was telling me about the classes they had. I asked about a quilting class (I figured I might learn something new) and she said I’d have to bring my own machine in for that. I told her I hand quilted and she looked at me like I was from Mars. I told her that was the fun part. I just find it sad the art is gone. Enjoy your fur babies, I know I do with mine. Beautiful quilt and thank you for sharing. Oh, and I hide my knots the same way you do

Very nice tutorial. I’m a quilter too but I’ve not tried the cathedral window block. I’ve always loved it. Funny when you said your videos should come with a warning... lol
