This is a handling mod for GTA 4 and EFLC. All handling parameters for all cars and bikes have been completely reworked based on real data. Cars handling made more close to reality due to fine tuning center of gravity, tire traction, suspension etc. You can download this mod from gtainside and nexusmods.

This is 1 thing nobody points out in vanilla GTA IV is how much body roll the cars have. For example, in vanilla game, sport cars have the body roll of an SUV as if they had soft suspension. In reality, they have/should have stiffer suspension meaning less body roll.

This is the best mod for GTA 4 anyone has ever made.

This mod is spot on! It now stops almost every car from acting like an SUV even when it's not. (such as the Infernus)

There are changes done, such as the Sultan's performance now being similar to that of an Altezza Gita AS300 (-20kgs due to being a sedan instead of a wagon and AWD of course), Comet now being similar to that of a 997 Turbo (I gave it a 50:50 torque split to make it feel like it has a "working" torque vectoring differential), and mainly with the top speeds, where 270km/h would just make the map feel smaller, so I came with the solution where I pretended that the measurement of speed in GTA IV is in MPH, and decided to get the top speed data (of course, in MPH) from their IRL counterparts.

So now, the Banshee would reach 198km/h instead of 270km/h, Schafter would reach speeds of 178km/h, and many others.

Overall, a very great mod, I just personalized some of the things to my own liking.

This is absolutly unreal car force!! Even a hit from a truck at that very low speed won't roll over a car. It would just pushes it. Hummer needs more speed to do that to other car. Its hilarious even to see in some point like car would be overacting or something.

Remember me to soccer players when one player slightly touch to another and then this suddenly hits the ground criying like the boy was dying.

GTA IV's vanilla physics feels wrong for me. It's kind of feels like some sort of boat handling for the most part. Really, Mafia 2's handling fits well with GTA 4's modern cars

This mod is what I'd expect from GTA IV's physics. Cars actually feel a bit more responsive

This is even better now. Vanilla physics had some issues as you've pointed out but the fact that they have implemented so many factors that modders can change says already a lot about the developers.

Two things are absolutely great in this mod.
1. Correct centering of vehicles. (Satisfying)
2. Setting the speed limit closer to reality. (It's really good that the ridiculous top speed limit is gone)
Apart from that, turns without body roll unfortunately do not feel realistic..

Would you be interested making a version that scales top speed back down to vanilla while preserving realistic handling? Killatomate85 ultimately did this with his GTAV mod and even seemed to surprise himself that he preferred it, because the game's streets are not engineered for realistic speed and the city is a miniature of a real city. But he never got back to doing it for his GTA IV mod and I've had unsatisfactory results trying to figure out how to do it myself. Things have to be balanced just right for handbrake turns and bike stunting to work correctly.

is it possible to manualky remove the increased speed and acceleration for the vehicles after installing the mod? I think this mod is excellent but as a personal preference i'd rather have the original acceleration and speeds the same as vanilla
