Hi Greg. This is Orrin. Can this method be used to make guitar riffs as well?

Great tip! I didn't know Cubase could do this. It's kind of like EZKeys.

i first suggested the FEATURE 18 years ago in the year 2000 trying to convince the developers of what was then known as JazzWare (a defunct 20th century DAW) telling them that MUSIC DAWs have ALL the capability and POWER to transform RHYTHM or RHYTHMIC PATTERNS into coherent chords **AND EVEN COHERENT MELODY or SOLO LINES** . . but it took 20 years for someone to realize this POWER ! i even gave up completely after getting frustrated by Not being taken seriously. i went into Java coding trying to do this myself by manipulating midi files, but when it is done OUTSIDE of a DAW environment you can imagine the programmatic hassles it introduced into my life ! i spent YEARS trying to convince the DAW developers about the HIDDEN MAGIC that could be awakened if RHYTHM could be transformed into coherent chords/scales ! Oh lord . . why did i have to WAIT 20 years for someone to FINALLY get it !! anyway, thank you Steinberg for realizing this :) Praise !!

Oh my this is cool. My keyboard skills suck, but I think they just found what they needed. One question - does that chord track stay at the top while you scroll through the others, or is that another cool trick? And thanks for the vids, they really help.

1) Using Artist 9, can I collaborate a project with someone using Cubase 7 in order from them to edit and mix?
2) When collaborating with someone using a windows operating system, is it possible for a Cubase Artist 9 project sent from a mac, be converted to a windows operating system or vise versa.

Which operating system is recommended for Cubase Artist 9, Windows or Mac?
