I often see this on YouTube where a person uses a pre-recorded live vocal to demonstrate how to EQ … The only way to demonstrate live vocal EQ is live… totally different environments!!

For the sake of argument.. To take an a Capella and EQ, then use that setting in the live vocal, in seconds you’d be undoing it…. So to demonstrate a live vocal off stage is two completely different ways!

Sounded natural, if quiet, before you messed. Voices don't sound like the final results. Too much EQ and compression.

Why on Earth do people use so much compression? All that does is make everything in the track sound louder, and there are no dynamic swings (which are what give music emotion). Dynamic compression sucks, and if you're trying to promote it here, you are part of the problem with respect to why recordings sound so fkn shitty these days.
