LAPD releases footage of pursuit that lead to deadly crash

Rick Montanez reports from downtown LA where authorities released footage of a pursuit that claimed the lives of two innocent victims. LAPD initially insisted that the incident was not the result of a police pursuit, but later admitted it was.

I'm just baffled by this. They were in pursuit of a dangerous piece of crap - so they should just let that piece of crap go and that's the end of it - because no one knows if that piece of crap would have ended up causing harm anyway. But sure, let's just let all the pieces of crap get away, that's gonna work out real well for everyone.
