Hey Lori, how are your family members doing? I hope they are healing quickly and getting strong. I just received my order of a 10 inch comal-tortilla pan for charring vegetables etc. So now I can make my own salsas, sauces etc. I also just bought Patti's Mexican Table book by Patti Jinich who I watch on the food channel all the time. Her book is wonderful as are her recipes on tv. Most of the ingredients I struggle to find over here in Australia but slowly I am building my supplies. I decided to grow my own jalapenos and pablono chillies this summer as they never sell them in my supermarket. We don't have a huge Mexican influence here and I so wish we did. We gave Spanish and Columbian etc but I find their recipes are too much friend food especially meats. Good to see videos again Lori. Hugs, Michelle

What a wonderful store. We have smaller Mexican grocery stores here but nowhere near as nice as that one. So much variety there! I love it.

There is a local chain here in Utah along the Wasatch Front called Rancho Market--although not nearly as swanky as that one--and it's pretty fabulous, particularly in pricing. The produce department always has some sort of specials going on, as does the meat market. I try not to eat carbs/pastries, but I do walk through the bakery section and LOOK, and the pastries are a delight to see!!!

Wow! I live in LA and I need to look for a place like that here. The roasted chilies are probably to die for. I really want Chimayo chilies but I can't find them here either. I love that they have bulk piloncillo.
