Damn you can actually see how much their animations have improved over the years. Like when Cuphead and Mugman go back to their idle animations after they drop/eat the cookie, it looks a little dated. Not like the animation quality was ever bad (it's been amazing from the start) but when you take a look at the final boss of the DLC you can definitely see where I'm coming from.

As disappointing as it is, the intro animations where the one that doesn't switch loses their half of the cookie in some way is a great attention to detail.
