This is quote is actually used if you also die in the elder kettles house so I think the quote is just a replacement quote so the game doesn’t crash

I mess around with code in my spare time so I'm going to shred some light onto this. I'm 95% sure this is just a default menu. If I'm correct this means that each phase is assigned a death quote and image that replace this placeholder once Cuphead, Mugman and Chalice die. But because your weren't supposed to die here it just pops up the default death screen. Pretty cool to see what studio MDHR put as placeholder. The phrase "you are not a warrior you are a beginner" comes from Street Fighter 2 Turbo. It's a really cool Easter egg in my opinion. So, that's all there is too it, no lore just a default death screen. Oh before I forget! The white box will become transparent once the image is placed there, that's why you never see it. It's the same case with Elder Kettles home.
