Finally. I've always been a stan of carrying a tonic for panic moments, even without permanent uptime. It's effectively a strange fruit + a BOATLOAD of damage and attack speed in a pinch. Gambling for that 20% chance to be forced to keep tonic is much better than just losing the run.

Shoutouts to the time I was able to maintain permanent upkeep with a soul-bound and a gesture, just before my first time going to fight Mithrix. By the time I actually got to him I had 15 afflictions. He just walked right up and bonked me straight to hell.
