Hot Process Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) Shampoo Soap Bar
Показать описание
Welcome to my ACV Shampoo Soap video! This video demonstrates my take on Liz Ardlady’s famous ACV shampoo bar recipe posted on her Soapy Stuff blog back in 2014. Somehow Liz stumbled on the idea of using vinegar instead of water for the lye solution in her hair washing soap – and it works!
Here are the ingredients I used for this soap:
Lye solution:
120g apple cider vinegar (I used homemade apple vinegar)
70g sodium hydroxide (3% superfat calculated into the recipe)
Oils:
200g canola oil
100g coconut oil
100g olive oil
50g castor oil
25g cocoa butter
25g sunflower oil
Extras:
62g additional ACV to add at the end of the cook
30g essential oil. I used 20g rosemary and 10g tea tree.
This soap can also be made using the cold process soap making method. I just chose to make this one as a hot processed soap.
