I love that the defendant is keeping his mouth shut

When the plaintiff said she didnt know she had to bring an expert witness, I thought JJ would say, "Where do you think you were coming today, to the beach!?"😂😂

She had the root canal done thinking someone else would be paying.

I work for a vet clinic that does dentistry. I’ve never seen a dog root canal, we always just extract broken teeth. 😭

One of the few times ive ever seen a defendant take responsibility without putting the blame on anybody else for what their dog did

She went for the more expensive route initially thinking he was going to pay for it

"I will not order him to do that. PERIOD!"

"Where did you think you were coming today?"
Also, you have to mitigate damages.

Yep pull it. My vet told me to put braces on my dog for $6k because she lost a tooth and I looked at her like she was from another planet.

1st time I’m seeing the guilty defendant with an unleashed dog win a case.

I'll take the 65 dollar tooth extraction vs 2300 root canal any day!! She was trying to get over on him 😑

I once had a dentist who refused to do any root canals. He said once the nerve is removed the tooth is dead and the body is constantly trying to remove it. Made sense to me.

Agreed. Sounds to me the Plaintiff opted one the more expensive route, figuring the defendant would pay it. Unless the tooth was unsalvagable, they'll always give you that option ; save the tooth or pull it. I partially understand the Plaintiff but she should've had a detailed report from the vet WHY the tooth needed to be saved, otherwise it's just cosmetics.

I do appreciate the fact that the defendant went ahead and paid her vet bills. Asking for a root canal surgery a month later is crazy talk though.

JJ is a smart woman but when she pulled the "i have dentist relatives so i know" card, i almost spit out my water. 🤭

How long do y’all think we will honestly have to wait before they get to the iconic Judy cases like the scammer, the workman compensation case, the Tupperware, the mother suing the mother of the dead girl for the car flipping over, the earpiece case etc…

Don’t get me wrong I’m loving this (finally) accessible Judy content but speak far and wide people we want to see Kelly get called a thief and outrageous 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Plaintiff is obligated to MINIMIZE her expenses. The Defendant still had an obligation to show a higher standard of care as a cop. He knows the laws better than the average Joe. But she was milkng it.

Totally agree on this one. If it was a molar, I could understand the root canal. But an incisor or canine could be removed and not cause the dog issues. I have little dogs and they get those types of teeth removed all the time because small jaws lead to poor dental roots. They are absolutely fine without them.
