My muscles were soft too while cutting, then I increased the carbohydrates and lowered the reps (like 8-6-6-4 for most of my exercises) and now they're always hard lol

That sounds like a great idea. I find it extremely interesting that gymnasts, who don't use weights, have fantastic physiques, but very few people use those kinds exercises to strengthen their bodies. And of course it's all functional rather than just a means to an end. I'm planning on doing almost completely bodyweight exercises for the summer myself. Push-ups, for instance, build my chest much better than any bench press movements. And recovery seems much faster with calisthenics too.

I can't recommend the Agoge Diet enough, that stuff helped me gain so much muscle.

It's funny, cause my legs/quads and calves are rock solid, my chest is semi hard in some places and squishy in others BUT my arms look really nice and muscular, but are soft as hell!

just keep trying :)
i remember when i couldnt even do 5. i think i could probably do 60 full pushup without rest.
try to do different type of push up like wide pushups, diamond pushups deep pushups, etc. The key is to do it until u cant even do 1. never give up and good luck :)

Elliot, you are awesome. Greetings from Croatia. I want to ask you a couple of things. First of all, I've been watching you for over a 3 months and you are awesome. You helped me alot. Here is the question: I'm currently weightlifting at the gym, 6x /week, building strength, but also keeping my explosivness and cardio up because I want to train boxing right now (Thats why Im building up strength). What should I do right now before I go to boxing gym? Everyone please like this so E. can see.Thx.
