One very important thing that you all are missing out on (I believe) is:
India exports 80-85% outside of the USA
China after this heavy duty tariffs will possibly dump most of its goods around the globe except the USA which will make the price of those goods cheaper and extremely competitive against the Indian goods, therefore, impacting a larger chunk of export of India.

There is a flaw in this export analysis you are just looking at exports to the US directly but our exports can be some other countries import i.e. raw materials and those other countries well some may export that final product to US so they are getting affected and indirectly it affects the total exports and not just US export of india it is very much connected and the answer is not that simple global supply chain is affected and uncertainity has taken over as of now .

That's what I've been doing ever since I stepped into the capital market.
(1) I invest with the intent of withdrawing at my retirement, which is still 30 years down the line.
(2) Whatever amount I put in I think of it as- I no longer need this money.
