Gamefreak themselves have confirmed that they were hacked, and over a terabyte of data was stolen. Not just pokemon stuff, but also personal information of employees. Apparently, a employee got phished.

One cool thing I see nearly no one talk about is the shards of the Arceus egg that turned into living giants that fought in a war against Arceus but were eventually killed by him.
This story actually gives an explanation to the *Arceus plates* as a big mystery for a long time was how on the plates it said the plates are infused with "the power of defeated giants" whatever that meant, and now after like 20 years we finally have an answer lol
