Producing – using – throwing away – and producing again. That’s the principle of the so-called throwaway society, and the reason why so many valuable resources are wasted. Instead, we should look to Mother Nature, who works purely in cycles.

Plastic waste is just trash to a lot of people – but for OMV, it’s a valuable treasure. Soon, OMV and Borealis plan to recycle 350,000 metric tons of plastic waste per year and become a world leader in circular economy.
