This only applies to very high level lobbies, if you’re just an average player you should still carry one

Or even in early to mid game when your fighting and the opponent gets you low you’re more likely to get further away from them if you shockwave rather than trying to grapple blade away

In zero build it is one of the most important items and if you get stuck behind a mountain and zone is coming ur basically dead (omg 2.5k likes!?!?!?!)

I still prefer to use it, its just fun to play with, its also good for crowd control, like separating teams because its sends them flying in different directions

Quick tip: you can buy the grapple blade from the npc located around rebels roost

The grapple blade was a neat item, I can see some improvements with the weapon, but as it is right now. It's just a weaker grappling hook, which was already a weaker web slinger.

You can easily buy one off an NPC either from Rebels Roost or Hazy Hillside

The cars kind of make grapple blades pointless this season. Even if you're stuck at a mountain and storm is coming, a bike will usually get you out

I always carry one because the third hit always sends enemies flying back (sometimes off of cliffs) and it is one of the only things aside from explosives that will damage through the ballistic shield

Grapple blades are amazing ways to kill people too, if you can time it right, you can slide kick someone, deal 20 damage by headshotting with the right click attack, and then pump in the head for 180

Go to rebels roost early, you’ll get the grapple blade from bot but it’s 400 gold and I earn an average of 250 so it’s hard to keep consistent. There’s also 3 slap barrels and a thingy downstairs that brings you to a house with up to 2 chest

In non competitive zero build lobbies no one knew how to deal with grapple blade close combat so if you have decent grapple spots you just zip around them a couple times and just slice them to bits, especially late game. Same with the Hades Whip in Chapter 5 Season 2, makes for some pretty nice kills if you're low on weapons

All I need to win is striker ar, frenzy auto, and a sniper and the rest is just heals or I like to carry shockwave grenades to get away from a tough battle
