when shifting 1st to 2nd, clutch is crying.
I showed this video the dealer stuff, they said they would clean inside the clutch housing, and update DSG program.

DIY FOC first
To perfrom the DSG gearbox perfrom the following steps. Be aware that it does not give you any visual feedback on the dash.

1. Put the key in the ignition and turn on – Do not start the car

2. Hold down the accelerator pedal fully for at least 10 seconds (many suggest 20 seconds). You will feel a little click under your foot at you push down the pedal fully.

3. Release the pedal – turn the key in the ignition. You can now start the car normally

If the DSG reset is successful you may hear some shifting mechanical sounds from the gearbox.

For anyone new coming to this video. Listen I have Seat Arona TSI 1.0 turbo. The noise was fixed only after replacing replacing the flywheel not the clutch. I believe the noise will definitely return in the future because VW make shit transmissions. Fix and sell don't wait.

Recently I have only heard a noise when the engine is warm and when high revs are reached. but Only when you stand still do you hear a rotating something such as a lower or grinding sound that rotates. there is nothing wrong with driving. Cold engine, can't it come out of the box?

My 2015 skoda fabia 1.2 tsi DSG had the same sound. Dealer covered it under warranty and changed the clutch. This is in Turkey btw.

There is a TSB on this issue. I believe the hybrid Jetta use the same 7sp DSG dry clutch. Mine makes the same noise. They’ve replaced the clutch once and shimmed per the TSB. When that didn’t work they replaced the whole trans. That worked for a 5 months now they’re thinking the new trans didn’t come with the updated TSB parts. Waiting on VOA to decide what to do with it next.
