While "it's always about the science and math" (and history, and all his other channels), Brady's gift is to extend it to be "it's always about the science and math, and the people doing it". Ed's trip to the LHC is especially memorable in that respect.

Inevitably, it's also about Brady. I remember well his early videos where his questions are truly those of a curious but largely unaware person. Over time, while Brady may not have serious science/math chops, his awareness of how math and science are done combined with his development of a genuinely sharp intuition for the related concepts and theory has led to some unexpectedly and delightfully deep and probing discussions. Brady is perpetually curious, and brings us along wherever that takes him and his interview subjects.

In a very real sense, Brady is the product of his own videos! It's been fun watching him grow as a producer, interviewer, cinematographer, editor, and general enthusiast for knowledge and expertise.

Brady is also about building relationships, connecting personally with both his interview subjects and his audience. It's always fun when he gets in front of the camera to do some exploring of his own.

I’d like you to ask more professors these questions.

When i was applying to unis (10 years ago), I went to an open day at Nottingham just to meet these guys. Didnt end up at Nottingam uni, but i did end up with a masters in physics, in no small part due to these videos igniting my interest in physics. Great stuff, keep it up.

I just saw a talk from Ed yesterday in Geneva. It was nice seeing him in person after so many years watching his videos :)

Absolutely loved this discussion! It’s rare to find such an engaging breakdown of theoretical physics, and Ed and Tony make it both insightful and entertaining. Well done!

Certainly the SS videos provide a really enjoyable learning experience. Thanks Brady.
I don’t know how you select the educators to work with, but the lot of them are great as a team and individuals. The is something about Dr. Copeland’s voice that is totally disarming. Every word comes in a wrapper of peace. Dr. Tony reminds me of how many “crazy sounding” things there may be at the core of nature. Dr. Mike tickles my Astronomer parts. I share his interest in Astrophotography. Keep it up.

These videos of kind, curious and knowledgeable people give me hope for humanity, until I recall what catastrophe just happened in the U.S and the thought absolutely guts me...
