I am not a meat eater but my friends tell me that these burger patties taste like real beef. I really like their taste and devour them pretty quickly.
Is this the best vegan burger out there?
I find that among a large variety of store bought vegetarian burger patties, the Beyond Burger is my favorite. I don't care so much for the amount of oil that's released from these burgers. Although, it's better for the oils to be out of the patties and in the pan as opposed to inside my body.
If your diet is mostly plant based and your are on a budget, is buying this burger a viable option?
The Beyond Meat burger patties work out to be about $2.20 USD per patty. In my opinion, that's certainly not cheap. But, as they are meant to be a plant based beef alternative, I would say that they are priced fairly.
