Sascha, you are a fantastic teacher! Not only are your instructions for the Italian bind of really well explained but your teaching of the Kitchener stitch is like unlocking a secret code!
I have followed instructions for it many times and have never found it straightforward. By your use of the term "secure the stitch" you have enlightened me once and for all.
Wow!! A huge thank you. That was brilliant! I shall be looking for your instruction and advice on other aspects of knitting in the future.

What a wonderful video! The best explanation and demonstration I've seen, and I have watched many!

Best instruction I found on this, it is actually a tubular bid off, was not sure if Italian and this are the same, think they are slightly different, but I like your video, it makes the most sense, and I’m left handed! Thank you! So I am doing it!, I think this is more involved, but your instruction makes it easy to follow.

Absolutely wonderful. I knitted a set of leggins for twin grand daughters. Originally used basic BO in pattern fir 1x1 rib . Not happy. This year when I extended the legs for growth I found this video. I also used a contrasting color for the two set up rows and the BO. They are so flexible for the children’s feet to go in and no tight bulky edge on ankle. Thank you so much for sharing your skills in such a clear concise expert manner.

Thank you, Sascha. I haven't tried this before, but your concise explanation and even pace give me confidence that I could do this correctly!

Thank you. This is the best explanation I’ve seen. I now recognise that it’s essentially Kitchener stitch and this will help me to remember.

I thought this explanation was very clear. As a new knitter I was intimidated by many of the videos I’ve seen on this topic. You’ve made it much less so. Thank you!

Sacha, I finally mastered this Bind off...it took me way longer than I thought possible, had to put it down, and come back to it, ripped stitches out, dropped stitches, then had to rework the set up rows, then I cut the Bind off thread too short...everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong...I'm sure there is a word in German for this...sigh, but I stuck with it, and I'm really happy that I did. I love the fact that there is no seam at the top of the hat! My daughter loves it, and that makes me very happy! Thank you, I now have new techniques to try, and learning something new is good for the soul. Happy Knitting. From The USA 🇺🇸

Thank you for posting this! Such a clear demonstration and so helpful when you made a sort of pattern- knit the purls and purl the knits, then 2 knits 2 purls. Slowly at the start then muscle memory thank goodness.
