Ukraine War: Liberal Russians flee Putin's persecution

An estimated 200,000 Russians have left to seek refuge abroad - fleeing the Putin regime, its crackdown on protest and free speech and a collapsing economy.

Sky's Dominic Waghorn spoke to some Russians who've fled to Turkey on the uncertain life they’re now living.

I feel so much for not only the people of Ukraine but also the Russian people who are just as adamant about stopping the war as the Ukrainians are. I very much hope that this utter insanity will stop and that they will reach an agreement. It's simply not worth this level of escalation.

But many Russians are also in support with the Putin war, because we can easily tell through their comments . Not just Russians but lot of Indians and many ignorance people.

Russia’s suffering a major brain drain right now. We don’t hear about it much cause the media’s so focused on Ukraine, but a lot of educated people are fleeing to Finland 😔 I fear it will make it only easier for Putin to control the people

I heard one Russian advocating for a national work strike. Since they are arrested for everything else. Wonder if it will gain traction. Seems contrary to what they need (food, money, products) but would get a message across and cost the gazillionairs even more.
