Progressive Auto Insurance can pound rocks. Overpriced with lousy service. Been stuck working at home for over a year (and still will working from home until at least this June), and all we got was a laughable 20 percent discount for two months. Was a customer for several years and just changed to another provider for less money. Never had a single claim or missed payment. Not a single traffic violation in 20 years. I make over six figures. Progressive didn't even try to keep me as a customer.

There is also a safe driver discount course, progressive has it not sure about other insurance companies.

Lol I’m paying $16.50/mo for absolute MINIMUM coverage on an old 2000s civic with Geico coz I live in a rural area, zero accidents, zero tickets, but more uniquely low mileage use, Berkshire class b share holder =-10$/mo, and I use a 3% cash back online cc (boa custom rewards whatever it’s called).
Pay 6mo at a time, 1 car policy, they even refunded me $25 to buy a steering wheel lock coz… early 2000s Honda.

I think I’m happy with things coz my car is worth so little that I basically total it every time i go under a quarter tank of gas and have >200k$ in the bank/brokerage acct if poo ever hit the fan. There’s a reason they make boatloads of money extorting poor people every year… I laugh when ins reps call and try to say they can get me a lower price… nah I can get YOU a cheaper price lol

Be careful. Progressive Insurance will continue to automatically withdraw money from your bank account after you switch to another insurance company and will then make you go through hell fighting their big-buisness doublespeak legalese in order to get your money refunded back to you.
